Sitting at my lunch table

Hello everyone,

Thanks for visiting my blog. I have decided to launch this blog to write about our life, our adventures in Korea and keep you updated on how The Gamberos live their life on the other side of the world. One day, and actually very soon we will be moving to the States and I'll keep posting about us as well.

Our life at the moment is anything but boring. I thank God for that and Danny too. I wouldn't be experiencing the Asian lifestyle and culture if it weren't for him. I love living in Korea, it is charming and different and fast-paced and lively and fun, but we both definitely miss our friends and family. I do have weak moments of severe homesickness, but I can't be blamed. But for now, Korea is our home, and it always will have a special place in my heart because almost right after our wedding, we moved here and started our life together as a married couple. This is the place where nobody knows my maiden name, this is where we celebrated our first wedding anniversary this is where we started growing together, establishing our very own family culture. This is the place I learned what being a housewife meant and Danny learned that I'm not good at it yet. Haha. Okay, I'm not so bad, but we just started realizing some of the things we do might not be the best for us financially, health wise or spiritually either. So we are ready for a change.

Follow this blog if you are interested in where we are going. I mean this literally, but not only like that. We travel quite a lot and we enjoy every bit of each of our trips but we are part of a journey too that eventually will end/continue in Heaven. The choices we make every day are bringing us closer or at times farther from that goal. I know that we should rely on God more so that we can rely on ourselves to make better choices in our daily lives.

Thanks for reading. More later!

Welcome
